CHAPTER 2-WORKING WITH OPERATING SYSTEMS

• An operating system is a program which acts as an interface  between a user and the hardware.

• An operating system has got two parts kernel and shell.The kernel is responsible for interacting with the hardware.

• The  major functions of operating System are
